Plants are vigorous and quick to mature, giving an early June crop from a spring sowing. Pods: long, elegant, and generously filled Flavour: best when picked young for tender beans; very young pods can be eaten whole Growth: vigorous plants, reliable and early cropping Height: approx. 90–100cm Care: Plant in rich, well-drained soil in a sunny position. Keep soil moist during flowering and pod set. Pinch out tips once the first pods have formed to help control blackfly and encourage bushier plants. Harvest from the base upwards when pods are well filled and beans still tender.
