Terms of sale
Last updated: 3 August 2026.
These terms apply to purchases made through the Sprout & About online shop. They do not affect your statutory rights.
The seller
Sprout & About is the trading name used by the independent grower operating this shop. Customer and legal correspondence can be started through the Contact page or by emailing tom@plugplants.store. Residential contact details are not published on this website.
Products and availability
Product descriptions and photographs are provided in good faith. Living plants vary naturally in size, shape and colour. Images therefore show the variety and general presentation rather than guaranteeing an identical specimen.
Stock is checked against Square when checkout begins. Placing an item in the basket does not reserve it. If an item becomes unavailable before payment, checkout will not complete and no order will be accepted for that item.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. The full order total, including any delivery charge and applicable taxes, is shown before payment. Payment is handled securely by Stripe. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and an order confirmation is issued.
Where a valid promotion code is offered, its conditions and any discount are shown in Stripe checkout before payment. Codes may have an expiry date, minimum order or usage limit and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Delivery
Available destinations, charges and estimates are shown at checkout. Unless another period is agreed, goods will be delivered within 30 days. See the Delivery page for more information.
Cancellations, returns and problems
Cancellation and return rights depend on the product and circumstances. Living plants or other rapidly perishable goods may be exempt from change-of-mind cancellation rights, but legal remedies for goods that are faulty, damaged or not as described still apply. See the Returns and refunds page.
Events outside reasonable control
Weather, plant-health restrictions, carrier disruption and other events outside reasonable control can affect dispatch. If a significant delay occurs, we will explain the options available, including cancellation where appropriate.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law applicable where the seller is established, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
